We have one room left to rent in our safe, friendly and lovely home in a nice area of San Leandro. Rent is very reasonable at $650 per month … one of the reasons is that renter will be expected to help owner with the sorting and clearing out of personal items … that would require about three to four hours per week for about two months or so. So please be neat and tidy and have some time on your hands. Please also be employed and no drugs, alcohol, or any illegal substances. The shared utilities are a very fair $50 per month too. No pets. Please be a dyke who appreciates a great value and “plays well with others”. This will be a six month lease that will be renewable! Drop me a note and tell me about yourself. There is also a lovely garden, private backyard with four fruit trees and roses, so if you love nature this would befit you too. The neighbors are ALL lesbian friendly! Not a bad deal. The hike is 9.1 miles. We plan to go up Whitmore Gulch to North Rim over to Soda Gulch and Purisima Creek trail back to parking lot. Estimated time will be at least 3.5 hrs. The hike is beautiful with coastal redwoods and views of the ocean. Bring lunch, liquids and layers as you never know on the coast. We’ll probably stop for coffee or desert at the Half Moon Bay Roasting Company afterwards.
Parking at the trailhead is limited, so carpooling is encouraged. If meeting at the trailhead, then from 280 take 92 west to Hwy 1. Turn left onto Hwy 1 and drive south 1.2 miles turning left onto Higgins Canyon Road (formerly Higgins-Purisima Road). Drive on this narrow road about 4.2 miles. Road ends at trailhead just over the little bridge.
