New Leaf Outreach to Elders is hosting Depth & Distance II an LGBT Art Exhibit for seniors 55 (by December 31, 2008) and older to open October 4th, 2008 at the LGBT Center 1800 Market in San Francisco. Entry forms can be down loaded online at www.newleafservices.org . You may also obtain a copy by mailing an SASE with 58¢ stamp or pick one up at the LGBT Center, 1800 Market, or other art, photo or frame shops in San Francisco. Deadline for entry is August 15th. This is a continuation of Depth & Distance, a lesbian exhibition presented by LVA:Lesbians in the Visual Arts & New leaf Outreach to Elders, which was exhibited about 4 years ago to wide acclaim.

Soul Support presents Master Reiki Practitioner Karl Vidt of MCC

An introduction and overview of Reiki, the Usui System of Natural Healing. The energy of Reiki connects us with the inner sense of wholeness and well being from which physical healing flows. The presentation is informational, covering the history of the tradition, and how the art of Reiki is practiced. This is not a training in the art, however attendees will be provided an opportunity to experience a Reiki treatment.
