Hi qbabes,
Let’s have another qbabe outing, this time to a Pride picnic that’s being organized in the East Bay by GLOBE (Gays & Lesbians Organizing for Betterment & Equality).
*What:* Pride Potluck Picnic. Let’s meet up and enjoy the day.
Main activities: Eating, chatting, hanging out, maybe some lawn games (I have bocce), swimming/wading and just enjoying the day with the qbabes and the GLBT community.
*Where:* Cull Canyon Regional Park (Cabana Reserved Section) in Castro Valley. I’ve been told there’s swimming and also ample shade.
*When:* Saturday, August 16, 2008. The picnic runs from from noon until 5. My partner’s business, Walsh Chiropractic, will have a booth. Let’s meet there at 1:00 PM so we can all find each other.
*RSVP:* It’d be great if you would RSVP to me, so I can know to look out for you, give you my cell # etc. If you end up deciding to go last minute, you can always just turn up at the Walsh Chiropractic booth at 1:00.
*Details/Cost:* * Bring a dish to share (as it’s a potluck picnic) * The picnic will be held in a fee area. There is an access fee of $3.50 for those 16-61. Those 1-15 or over 62 and those who are disabled pay $2.50. (Babies up to 1 yr. are free.) *Parking is free. *Kids are welcome. *Sorry, no pets. (Park rules.) *Since this is an event for the larger GLBT community, there will be a mix of genders.
