A Note from Ali regarding WISH LISTS:
So I’ve had several folks that cannot visit and share their time, offer Home Depot or Lowe’s gift cards and let me tell you–how helpful!!! And of course, we always accept cash!
Did you know, it was over $10,000 just to get the keys to move in, much less what it’s taking to clean it out and create what’s wanted–dry wall, tools, supplies, mud, paint, flooring, etc. On that note: those volunteers that have been super active in helping me keep this organized (whether from afar or at the space) are the one’s getting their suggestions in–so if you want to see something at the space (I’ve heard “padded room”…puurrrr), then help out, get involved, or solicit sponsors to pay for it so we can create it!! :-) We want those things too, but they’re costly and we need supporters. If you’re unable–think of folks or businesses that are able.
