Going In, Coming Out - An Expressive Arts Workshop for Lesbians

Going In, Coming Out
An Expressive Arts Workshop for Lesbian Women
What parts of you are still “in the closet?” What stands in the way of you being as real as you want to be in the world? Imagine how much richer your life would be if you could break through those barriers!
Coming out is not a one time event. It is a gradual and lifelong unfolding - a continual opening into one’s truest and most authentic self.
This workshop will utilize an inter-modal arts process (movement, drawing, writing, voice, theater play, etc) to explore our inner selves and our external identities in the world. We’ll be going in to discover what is happening for us currently in our lives, and then bringing it out creatively through movement, art and play. At the end of the workshop we will create an integrated self portrait based on the head to toe explorations of the previous 7 weeks, and we’ll have a coming out celebration with our newly uncovered selves! WHERE: Studio 320 3435 Cesar Chavez @ Valencia, San Francisco WHEN: Sept. 16 - Nov. 4 Tuesday nights from 7:00-9:30 pm COST: $275 An eight-week commitment is required. All art supplies are included. (Payment plans are available) HOW: To register, please email: Heidi@FullSpectrumExpression.com For more information call: (415) 385-5717 NO ART OR MOVEMENT EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY FOR THIS WORKSHOP.
“Living is a form of not being sure, not knowing what next or how. The moment you know how, you begin to die a little.” -Agnes De Mille
Heidi Landgraf, MFA, has a certificate in Movement Based Expressive Arts Therapy from The Tamalpa Institute (www.tamalpa.org) where she trained with renowned pioneers in the field Anna and Daria Halprin. She has an MFA in Dance from California Institute of the Arts, and is also trained as a Life Coach.

Just a reminder about the First Annual Santa Cruz Bi-Friendly Camp-out….. I’m planning to be there :-)
We welcome people over 18 years old of every gender, orientation, and family configuration.
Please RSVP to Norm (thenorm@sagatech. com) so we can plan accordingly. Norm and Company will arrive at Butano State Park during the day on Friday September 12. Folks can meet up there any time in the afternoon or evening (if RSVPed).
There will group potlucks, hiking options, possibly a trip to the local beach, an opportunity to try to beat me at Scrabble (if you dare), and miscellaneous nonsense.
Please RSVP now. Thanks!
