Do you like the discussions around our community? Come chat on LavenderEvents.com/forum/

— admin @ 4:30 pm

I have seen an increasing number of discussion emails on women’s lists - mostly around Prop 8.

I felt that it was important enough to get some more tools involved to expand the networking.

I’ve created this forum to post topics in regards to activism and general chatter of the community:
http://www.lavenderevents.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=4 is the direct page to Prop 8.

Other topics are LGBT News, Business Referrals, Coming out, Chit Chat, and Q&A

Please take a peek and see if you find this tool useful to chat with the community.

In the spirit of the community,
Sondra Moore

Stanford Quads class intro, Sunday 10/26, 7-9 PM, Palo Alto

— admin @ 3:45 pm

Do you have a couple of hours free on Sunday evenings to have some fun, learn, and get a little exercise with a mixed LGBT-friendly crowd? Come on down to the Stanford Quads. They’re starting a new square dance class; this week is free if you just want to check it out.
This isn’t square dancing like you remember it from school; modern Western square dancing has evolved. Here is an article about Quads-style square dancing by the Mathematical Association of America:

Singles/couples/groups of any gender/orientation mix are welcome, dress is casual, and smiles are ubiquitous. Come on out; tell them Kennita sent you ;-) . Actually, come say hi — I’ll be there! Hope to see you!
Event: Stanford Quads Beginner Class Introduction When: Sunday, October 26, 2008 7 PM to 9 PM Where: Covenant Presbyterian Church 670 E. Meadow Drive, Palo Alto, CA
Live long and prosper, Kennita
