Hi all, Sisterspirit Bookstore (938 The Alameda, San Jose) is officially closed in its current location, until we reopen in our new location in the Billy DeFrank Center. HOWEVER,we still have tons of stock to get rid of. Lots of new and used lesbian fiction. Lots of books in religion/spirituality, erotica, and nonfiction. We also have lots of miscellaneous items such as: display stands three large display cases an upright piano several bookcases sound equipment a mannequin torso a card rack We are opening the store to the public a final time on Saturday, 11/22/08, to move as much merchandise as possible. No reasonable offers will be refused. If you KNOW you will want to buy/barter for a large item (e.g., a lot of books, the piano, a display case, etc.), it might be possible to arrange an appointment before Saturday. The volunteer steering committee members lead informal group discussions, arrange speakers and workshops, and organize game nights, potlucks, holiday parties, and more.
