BACW’s TGIF Parties Are Back! Starting This Friday Dec. 5

BACW’s Friday Night Get-Togethers–Back and Better than Ever!
Please join the BACW on Friday, December 5, at 6:30 PM at the newly-remodeled Savoy. We will kick off a new series of TGIF gatherings on the first Friday of every month.
We’ll have socializing from 6:30 until 8pm and dancing afterwards. Savoy will provide drink specials!

Coming Attractions from PWG - Palo Alto

Spend some time with PWG this December.
Lets Go To Russia-With Erika & Joanne Hosting Erika and Joanne will be showing pictures of their May 2008 trip to Russia. The visit starts in Moscow. This is followed by a 5-day Viking River Cruise up the Volga River, through canals, locks, and lakes, providing views of the countryside and daily ground excursions to interesting towns and monasteries. The final destination is Saint Petersburg, location of the Winter Palace and the world-famous Hermitage Museum. Be prepared to be satiated with photographs of onion-domed and colorful churches and palaces that are over the top in extravagance.. Show starts at 7:45

Holiday Party-Yanky Swap Join us for a healthy dose of fun at our annual holiday Party and Yanky Swap. We are honored to have a PWG member graciously open her home to us for this year’s party. Adding to the excitement we will be graced with a few delightful tunes sung by “The New Winkle” a women’s barber shop quartet. We will supply music and Holiday deserts, as well as beverages. All you need to bring is a wrapped item for our annual Yanky Swap. The gift should be under $10 or a gift ready to be recycled. Since this “ Not to missed party” will take place in Palo Alto at a PWG member’s spacious house R.S.V.P. is required to receive the address and directions. Our mission is to provide a safe environment for women to meet other women and participate in small and large group discussions about topics of interest to our community. We also sponsor workshops, educational meetings, potlucks, and just plain fun! The volunteer steering committee members lead informal group discussions, arrange speakers and workshops, and organize game nights, potlucks, holiday parties, and more.
