SF Foodies- Brunch Anyone? Sunday, Dec 21 at Ramblas

— admin @ 2:15 pm

Like most traditions, the origin of brunch is not totally clear. It may be the custom of giving Victorian servants Sunday off, which led to the introduction of our present day Sunday late morning delight. Or it’s also suggested that it was invented by New York Morning Sun reporter Frank Ward O’Malley based on typical mid-day eating habits of a newspaper reporter. But for most of us, it’s simply a way to ease into the day with strong coffee, light conversation and down- home cookin’.
So, how about a SF Foodies brunch date at Ramblas in the Mission, which has a unique brunch menu inspired by Barcelona’s fabulous Spanish fare. You may familiar with Ramblas, having tried their tapas in the evening, but have you ever had their hangover cures? This Sunday, you can work off your Saturday night with Ramblas’ Valencia Scramble, Spanish Toast and $3 Mimosas.
Please come to our second SF Foodies event on Sunday, December 21 at 11:00 a.m. As you know, brunch is very popular in SF, so I’ll be making a reservation. Please RSVP so I have an accurate count.
Ramblas is located at 557 Valencia St. between 16th and 17th in the Mission. (Easy access from BART & MUNI.)
