With the new year upon us I will hold an open forum at our next Soul Support meeting, Monday Jan. 26th, 7-9pm. I am interested in your feedback, needs, and suggestions for future programming. I will offer a brief overview of Soul Support’s first year, sharing the highlights, challenges, and some emerging new directions. Please join me in shaping Billy DeFrank’s Soul Support program for 2009. The Billy DeFrank LGBT Community Center is located at 938 The Alameda, San Jose. Become a Triangle Speaker

A Triangle Speaker works to eliminate the fear, prejudice, and hatred of LGBT individuals. A speaker sits on a panel presentation and speaks from their own personal experiences to dispel myths and stereotypes of LGBT individuals.

Triangle Speakers does panel presentations throughout Santa Cruz County and Salinas in grade schools, middles school, high schools, colleges, organizations, and businesses. Panels are done whenever your schedule allows, we only ask our speakers to do at least 3 panel presentations per year.

If you are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or a straight ally and would like to be a part of this important education project to let youth in Santa Cruz County and Salinas know that they are not alone, please RSVP for ONE training date below:
