As we welcome in 2009, we also have the opportunity to explore new adventures.

Please mark you calendars on July 10-12 for an exciting adventure rafting down the American River with other women from our community.
We have seen this event grow over the past years and look forward to another group of over 50 women on this LGBT weekend.
Our trip starts on Friday Night with Happy Hour introductions and then you are off to the river Saturday and Sunday.
Full information available at www.lavenderevents.com/rafting/

If you feel you just must go on the more advance trip, please consider sending in your deposits due to very limited availability.

Ongoing Invitation for Rainbow Women’s Chorus

— admin @ 3:30 pm

Ongoing Invitation for Rainbow Women’s Chorus Spring Season! Come SING with us! Rainbow Women’s Chorus begins rehearsing for our Spring concert on January 26. Rehearsals are every Monday at 7 PM at Morrill Middle School, at the corner of Cropley and Morrill in North San Jose. We’ll be singing great Hollywood tunes like You’ll Never Walk Alone, Nine to Five, On the Street Where You Live, Seize the Day, Seasons of Love, La Bamba, Over the Rainbow (of course!) and more. There’s nothing quite like standing in the middle of women’s voices raised in song. We encourage all women to join us –opera singers and shower singers alike– you just need to be able to carry a tune. Come to one of our first rehearsals and see for yourself. Or if singing isn’t your thing, contact us about becoming a valuable non- singing support member. For more details, call Eileen at (408) 374-5228 or visit our website at www.rainbowwomen.org
