anyone knows if there is perspective mon’s support group in south bay? we’ve been searching for one and it seems all of them are in SF and Berkeley/Oakland.
If you are in the same situation (trying to conceive and going through the processes of deciding know/unknown donors and charting, etc) and would like to form a group together, please feel free to email me!

Musical Greetings!
I am so looking forward to regrouping and drumming in community starting this coming Wednesday, February 11th. We will meet from 7-9 pm at Oakland Public Conservatory of Music.
I am extending the invitation to folks who have not yet registered. I would love to have your energies in our circle and believe that this series will be quite stimulating and transformative, as some of us are returning from an incredible journey in Guinea, with much inspiration, rhythms, stories, and moves!
We will study some of the rhythms we learned in Guinea, develop our technique, timing, and dynamic play. And together, we will play music that grounds us in freeing ourselves and releasing stress.
Drumming begins: February 11th until May 13, 2009 from 7 - 9 pm. Location: Oakland Public Conservatory of Music, 1616 Franklin Avenue, Oakland, CA 94604. Ring the doorbell. Directions to OPCM: From 580: Take Downtown Oakland Exit - 980W and get off at 14th Street. Make a left onto 14th Street. Take 14th to Franklin Ave and make a left onto Franklin. Bart and Bus lines are available and stop very near to OPCM at the Lake Merritt stop.
To Register: I have extended the discounted registration fee for the 13-week series of $243.75 until the first day of class: Feb 11th. Tuition for the entire series after that is: $325. In addition to this course, I am available for private and semi-private drumming tutoring to enhance your rhythmic integration and confidence. Please let me know when we see each other in class or email me with your interest.
