I live in a great 3-room apt, but my housemates are moving out mid june, so i’m lookin’ for 2 new transplants.
What I’m looking for: I’d like to live with responsible, progressive, politically minded peeps interested in building a sense of warm community in the house, though without the organizational formality or institutional look of co-op living. So, shared veggie food and responsibilities, but shared meals just when convenient. I’m open to living with a small pet, but not hip to smoking, drugs or lots of TV.
Here’s me: I’m a queer female 32-yr-old law student into global justice issues. I’m a homebody who prefers dinner parties to drinking parties, but I’m also more likely to be found salsa dancing than studying. I’m easygoing, love making baked goods and listening to democracy now or this american life.
Here’s the skinny on the house: It’s the second floor of a duplex. Fab location - neighborhood of 60 and telegraph. Walking distance from rockridge bart and temescal shops. I’ll admit that the carpet is a little fugly but it’s super spacious, great for entertaining, with an open, light common area, three bedrooms (one is little), backporch, back patio with veggie garden. Rent is around $570 give or take a discount for the small room - plus utilities.
