Dear Sapphic Sisters:
We have for rent a HUGE, upstairs bedroom in a three bedroom home in a safe lesbian-friendly neighborhood in San Leandro. This furnished room that looks out to the hills has a queen-size bed, dresser, chair, desk and closet. The upstairs bathroom is shared by one other lesbian who is gone ten hours per day. Both of the lesbians who live here are very stable, quiet, considerate, no drama, no drugs and no alcohol. Common space includes a large kitchen with an eating area and a large living and dining room. There is a washer and dryer. This home has a secluded peaceful back yard with 4 fruit trees…orange, two cherries and one apple pear. This lovely home on a dead end street hosts a huge park at the end of it. The neighbors know we are lesbians and are totally excepting of our life . We expect you to be employed, stable, considerate, drug free and only moderate alcohol use, if any. This is a woman-only home…The rent is $650 a month plus $50 utilities. Please feel free to write and ask any questions if you are interested. Shalom and blessings, LINDA ZEISER: poet and producer of lesbian artistic events **************Access 350+ FREE radio stations anytime from anywhere on the web. Get the Radio Toolbar! Over the past couple of weeks and the warmth of the sun, I’m sure you all can’t wait for the summer adventures of camping, kayaking, hiking and other community outdoor gatherings.
As you may know, Lavender Events is hosting our annual white water rafting adventure down the American River on July 10-12.
We start the weekend with a meet and greet Friday night and then we are whisked away in the rapids on Saturday and Sunday. All food is provided and there is no need to move your campsite once you are set up!
We have seen this event grow over the past years and look forward to some familiar faces as well as meeting other adventurous LGBT people.
Full information available at www.lavenderevents.com/rafting/
The more advance trip has limited availability, so it’s time to send your deposits now. Your host for the weekend, Sondra Moore of LavenderEvents.com

This past summer Cuba endured a series of devastating hurricanes which destroyed crops, buildings and infrastructures. This event is a fundraiser to help them re-build, especially the women of the village of Boca de Yumuri.
There will be great music by dyke performers, and lots of education about what’s going on in Cuba, and how you can support.
Please spread the word and come out, have a great time while supporting a great cause! Thanks! ~Lenn
