Rainbow Women’s Chorus presents “Hooray for Hollywood: Songs from the Silver Screen.” We’ve gone to the movies for inspiration this time, and we’ll be singing great Hollywood tunes like You’ll Never Walk Alone, medley from Mamma Mia, Nine to Five, On the Street Where You Live, Seize the Day, La Bamba, Over the Rainbow (of course!) and more.
Saturday, May 30 at 8 PM Sunday, May 31 at 3 PM Christ the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church 1550 Meridian Avenue, San Jose [map] Tickets: $18 at the door, $15 in advance ($3 discount for seniors, students or groups of 10 or more. No one will be turned away for financial reasons.)

We’re losing 3 bowlers for this next season - not enough to keep the league together. We need a minimum of 4 teams with 4 people each and we’re 3 people short (tho can accommodate up to 6 without needing to form more teams - tho more teams would be AOK too!). If we can’t get enough people by next week, 28 May - our little LGBT & Friends league will be no more. There are several women over 40 in this league.
Details: We are a fun group of social bowlers (meaning no expertise required - just a desire to have fun).
We bowl every Thursday at 6:30pm on this handicap, sanctioned league. $18 per bowler per week to pay for bowling and contribute to the prize fund - plus $20 annual fee for USBC membership (shoe rental extra).
Once you join, you pay whether you play or not (games can be pre-bowled or made up if you miss a night).
We hope you’ll commit to the entire season, or give a weeks (paid) notice if you must drop - cuz we owe the house their cut based on league members.
