New Location !!: San Leandro Community Church, 1395 Bancroft. Ave. San Leandro.   Dear Sapphic Sisters & Incredible Artists ..  .FRIDAY, June 12,  6:30 to !0 pm  Works in Progress .  Party with the AVERAGE DYKE BAND!!!. Works in Progress is moving from The Home of Truth in Alameda to The San Leandro Community Church at 1395 Bancroft Avenue (one block from Estudillo) to better serve the women in our community.. This lovely sanctuary has a great stage, piano and, most importantly, is wheelchair accessible!      To celebrate we will be throwing a huge Gemini  BIRTHDAY PARTY for LINDA and CAROLYN on Friday, June 12.  To wow, thrill and delight you will be the AVERAGE DYKE BAND…. whose fame and talent are legendary!!!               Please join us for this birthday and moving bash that begins with a potluck at 6:30 pm .  Bring your favorite dish to share.  The evening goes on and on until 10:00 pm.  Dancing is encouraged along with bringing a joyful heart to our new venue!  Admission to this wonderful party is $10 to $15 and includes a raffle ticket for our great raffle.  All proceeds go to the band. This is a women’s event.   We are very excited about this lesbian friendly and charming new location which is close to BART and right by the bus stop… Drivers: on 580 take Estudillo (or Dutton/Estudillo) exit, head down Estudillo towards the bay, turn left at Bancroft.  From 880, take Davis St exit, head towards the hills, turn right on Bancroft .   BART: San Leandro station    Feel free to contact Linda at zeiserpoetmc@aol.com for more information.
