San Francisco Pride Celebration
San Francisco Pride has been said to be “one of the last remaining pride events that can truly be called a rite of passage.” 2009 will mark the 39th anniversary of the San Francisco LGBT Pride Celebration and Parade.
The event will be held over the weekend of June 27 and 28, 2009 in the Civic Center of downtown San Francisco.
With over 200 parade contingents, 300 exhibitors, and 19 stages and venues, the San Francisco LGBT Pride Celebration and Parade is the largest LGBT gathering in the nation.
The San Francisco Pride Celebration is packed with a wide variety of exhibitors, artists, music of all kinds, performers, dance stages and venues, and fun. There really is something here for everyone.
The Celebration at Civic Center is host to our Main Stage where in 2008, attendees saw Cyndi Lauper, Margaret Cho, Kat DeLuna, Inaya Day, Crystal Waters, speakers from the marriage equality movement, San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom, and others.

January 29th - February 7th, 2010. Trip details and great photos at:
http://www.bluewaterventures.org/baja_000.htm
Send a deposit postmarked by June 30th and receive a gift certificate for a single day kayaking trip in Coastal California.
Our last Baja adventure sold out and based on feedback, we expect this to happen again; limited to 16 participants…those new to camping, snorkeling, kayaking welcomed. Let your guides take care of the camping details while you enjoy the beauty of Baja. Most physical abilities can be accommodated.
Traveling in small skiffs into Magdalena Bay, the group waits for California gray whales to approach our boat for eye to eye encounters.
In the ruggedly beautiful Espiritu Santos Island in the Sea of Cortez, we kayak, snorkel, beachcomb along deserted beaches, hike, fish and relax at our gorgeous beach camp. Swimming with sea lions is a trip highlight! Both site locations feature the comfort and ease of boat supported base camps and magnificent sunsets.
Contact Kim Powell at: bluewaterventures@sbcglobal.net For more details, please visit: http://www.bluewaterventures.org
May you have close encounters with whales in 2010!

Hi, I’m looking to rent a room or a private studio in Mountain View or surrounding area that would allow pet (a small chihuahua-mix dog). I’m 35 years old, a lesbian, very responsible, quiet, clean, and easy going. I work full-time during the day and take night classes some time. I’m willing to share house chores if needed. This place should have accessible parking and a backyard with fence. I can pay from $300 - $700 a month. Please email me privately. Thank you. M.
