Come out to schmooze, grab a pizza, watch a charming short film, and hear our own local expert, nationally-known author and transgender specialist Stephen L. Braveman, talk and answer questions on our trans friends within the LGBT community.
Salinas Valley Equality’s July 2009 Town Hall Meeting
6:30 pm, Tuesday, July 21, at The Pizza Factory
926 South Main Street, Salinas
Stephen’s talk will be followed by the poignantly funny short film, “No Dumb Questions,” about 3 young nieces who are about to meet their “new” trans aunt for the first time, plus news on upcoming events and opportunities for you to make a difference.
If you are curious about the T in LGBT, or you are the T in LGBT, or you just want to catch up with friends and have a good time, then join us for this informative event.
Please note that while SVE would love to buy you a pizza, it’s simply not in the budget. But it is a pizza factory, after all, and for a few bucks they’ll be happy to make one for you and your friends, just the way you like it.
