Join Bold Strokes Authors for a night of reading and discussion at the Billy DeFrank Center. AND IT’S FREE!
Sisterspirit Bookstore and Billy DeFrank Center are hosting a night with three Bold Strokes authors. Come meet and talk to the authors, hear a reading and get your books signed (and enjoy some refreshments while you’re there).

Author Information:
Lisa Girolami is the author of Love on Location, Run to Me, The Pleasure Set (Spring, 2010), and Finding Grace, a short story in the anthology, Romantic Interludes 1: Discovery. She has been in the entertainment industry for thirty years including ten years as pr oduction executive in the motion picture industry and another two decades producing and designing theme parks for Walt Disney and Universal Studios. She holds a BA in Fine Art and an MS in Psychology and she is also a counselor at a mental health facility in Garden Grove. She currently lives in Long Beach, California.
Gabrielle Goldsby is the author of six novels including Forward Magazine finalist, Remember Tomorrow, the Lambda Literary Award winning Wall of Silence, and The Caretaker’s Daughter, recipient of the Alice B. Lavender Certificate. A Northern California transplant, Gabrielle currently resides in Portland, Oregon. When not writing, she enjoys reading, camping, hiking, and lifting the heaviest things she can get her hands on.
Clifford Henderson lives and plays in Santa Cruz, California. She runs The Fun Institute, a school of improv and solo performance, with her partner of seventeen years. In their classes and workshops, people of all genders and sexual orientations learn to access and express the myriad of characters itching to get out. When she’s not teaching or performing, she’s writing, gardening, and twisting herself into weird yoga poses. Her first novel, The Middle of Somewhere, came out in January 2009, published by Bold Strokes Books. A second one, Spanking New, will be coming out in February 2010, and a third, Maye’s Request, in 2011.
