Meeting Schedule Update!

— admin @ 1:00 pm

LGBT Diversity Centers of Monterey County Building Safe Spaces for Monterey County’s Diverse LGBT Community…
First, thanks for your continued support of the LGBT Diversity Centers of Monterey County. We are fast approaching the realization of two physical locations, one in Salinas and one in Monterey. We have just completed ratification and filing of our Articles of Incorporation and are anxiously awaiting approval so that we can take the next steps to finalize our Nonprofit status. To that end, don’t forget that we are having an Estate & Yard Sale on December 5th to raise funds to cover filing and start-up costs. You can find more information about this event, including details about how you can contribute items, by visiting the Centers’ website at lgbtmontereycounty.com.
Due to the Holidays ahead we have rearranged our Board of Directors Meeting schedule. Please note that the meetings that were scheduled for November 26th, December 1oth, and December 24th have been changed. The November 26th meeting has been moved to December 3rd, the December 10th meeting has been moved to December 17th, and the December 24th meeting has been canceled. We will resume our regular schedule beginning with the January 7th meeting in Salinas. The December 3rd and 17th meetings will both be held in Monterey. For a complete and up-to-date meeting schedule, as well as details of other area events, please visit your Community Calendar on the Centers’ website.
One final note: we are still in need of a qualified person to serve as Treasurer on the Board of Directors. If you are interested, or know of someone who might be interested, please refer to our posts on the Centers’ website at http://lgbtmontereycounty.com/wp-content/plugins/mailpress/mp-includes/action.php?tg=l&mm=195&co=p&us=d48e872521431f9ba1a2ce9ceef24aec/wp-content/plugins/mailpress/mp-includes/action.php?tg=l&mm=195&co=p&us=d48e872521431f9ba1a2ce9ceef24aec/wp-content/plugins/mailpress/mp-includes/action.php?tg=l&mm=195&co=p&us=d48e872521431f9ba1a2ce9ceef24aec/archives/397 and in the Community Forums.
Happy Holidays to you and yours. We are gratful for your support.
