Post-apocalyptic bunkers, hair salons, train stations, and carnivals - Frameline’s newest short film compilation proves that lesbians are everywhere! Fun in Girls’ Shorts brings together six of Frameline’s best lesbian shorts from recent years, including several award-winning festival favorites and marks the highly anticipated home video debut of Guinevere Turner’s Hung, which has screened at more than 80 film festivals around the world.
Additional award highlights from this collection include a Planet Out Short Movie Award for Airplanes, which was also named the Best Student Short at the Provincetown International Film Festival. Hi Maya has been honored as the Best Short Film at the Seattle Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, and Outside was named the Best Asian American Film by the Director’s Guild of America.
