Lesbians of all backgrounds who are near/at/post retirement are invited to meet on the third Thursday of each month from 4:00 to 6:00 PM to share a comfortable space, a warm cup of coffee, socialize together, and build community. The gathering is an opportunity to stay local and to meet other lesbians from San Mateo County each month. The group, sponsored by Family Service Agency of San Mateo County - a private nonprofit organization, provides lesbians an opportunity to connect, talk, build community, have fun, and share. The group is welcome to all who identify as lesbian who are near/at/post retirement and provides a forum for socialization and sharing.

Announcement for First LLW 2010 Organizational Meeting — Sunday, December 6, 2009 — 2:00 pm
LLW 2010 will hold an organizational meeting this Sunday, December 6, 2009 at the Castro Community Room from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The location is 501 Castro Street, above Bank of America / Sunglass Hut at the corner of 18th Street and Castro. We purposefully scheduled this meeting so that people from out of town who might be going to the Leather Community Holiday Dinner can try to attend this meeting.
At this meeting, we plan to elect the officers and directors of the LLW 2010 executive and steering committees. If you are interested in helping us plan next year’s event, please try to make this meeting. Please pass this information to anyone you think would be interested in working to put LLW 2010 together. The best candidates for membership on the steering committee are those who have been to LLW previously (preferably recently). If you (or they) can’t make the meeting and are still interested, please email me at rover@leatherlevi.org.
This meeting is open to anyone who is interested in LLW as a past, present or future attendee and all members of the leather community as interested parties, so distribute this email freely.
