Hi there - I hope this sort of posting is acceptable on this list. I’m moving out of my very sweet Mission flat where I live with three other fabulous queer people. The room available is actually two rooms — a sunny beautiful bedroom and a clean, bright office/ extra room. The place as a whole is also lovely — lots of light, a big kitchen and common area, washer/dryer, dishwasher. The roommates are friendly and respectful, all around 28 years old. Hi Everyone, Join us tomorrow, Sunday February 28th at 3pm, at the Merrill Cultural Center at the University of California Santa Cruz to hear nationally renowned author, activist, and advocate Candace Gingrich discuss why it’s important that Generation Equality (Americans under 30) - a generation more supportive of LGBT equality than any other generation - turn their convictions into actions to help our entire community achieve results. We have a lot of work to get done both federally and locally here in California this year and in coming years, and mobilizing this generation (a generation as large as the Baby Boomers) is an important step in achieving the results we’d like to see.

About: GenEQ: Supportive and Active for LGBT Equality
Americans under 30 (Generation Equality) are more supportive of LGBT equality than any other generation. But simply being supportive of an issue doesn’t magically achieve results. It is time for GenEQ to take their convictions and turn them into actions and join the work toward full LGBT equality.
About Candace Gingrich
Since 1995, Candace Gingrich has served as a key advocate for issues of importance to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community. Her involvement in the movement for queer equality began when her brother, Rep. Newt Gingrich, R-GA., was elected House speaker.
Her 1996 autobiography, The Accidental Activist, was a best seller in the LGBT community. Gingrich has been profiled in national newspapers & magazines, guest-blogged at Huffington Post and appeared on Good Morning America, Countdown with Keith Olbermann and the Queen Latifah Show. She also memorably guest-starred as the minister on Friends in the groundbreaking episode “The One with the Lesbian Wedding.”
On behalf of the Human Rights Campaign, Gingrich has criss-crossed the country to promote the importance of coming out, the duty to vote and the power of everyday conversations to change minds. As HRC Foundation’s Youth & Campus Outreach associate director, Gingrich works to provide tools, facilitate connections and empower Gen EQ (Generation Equality) to fight for LGBT equality on campus and beyond.

Two laid back hard working single lesbians looking for a third to rent a Large Room in Fremont . That is you would be renting your own room,,, as we have our own. The room is in a house in a nice neighborhood with plenty of parking. The room is available now. It is six blocks away from the train and a five minute drive to BART. We are close to a Lucky grocery store, fast food, yoga, karate, fitness 19 and many more small stores that I have never ventured forth to visit. If you are a college student we are fifteen to twenty minutes away from the Ohlone campuses and about thirty five minutes away from CSUEB Rent is $500 including utilities. There is a $500 deposit Amenities Include; · Use of washer, dryer (if you don’t abuse the machines),a fully stocked kitchen including gas range and a large refrigerator with filtered water · Large backyard nice for b.b.q. and gardening · Wireless internet · Weight equipment in the back patio. · Cozy fireplace The room receives a great deal light as it has redwood French doors that lead to the backyard and a large window. The dimensions are 14’ by 10’ We are looking for one roommate not a tribe, so we ask that you keep your guest’s visits to a respectful minimum. We are very respectful of each others work hours. In other words if someone needs sleep then we allow them to sleep. You will be a neat person willing to commit one hour a week cleaning common areas of the house. You must like dogs.
