I’m simply amazes me how well the voting process has been coming along for Modesto’s 23rd Annual Crack ‘n’ Glo Awards scheduled for September 4th, 2010 at Eagle’s Hall in Modesto, California. So far, to date, there has been a huge interest & an overwhelming “170″ people who has cast their votes on line, and about two dozen has sent it to me via e-mail and snail mail. The voting started only 18 days ago! This has been so Amazing! It’s a tight race! So many categories are still, too close to call. A couple of them are a natural run away. The Crack ‘n’ Glo Awards are NOT meant to hurt peoples feelings nor are personal attacks. These awards have been around for 23 years, and every year, someone gets a little butt-hurt. Laugh it off and go on fighting for our cause. The Crack ‘n’ Glo Awards Show is supposed to a fun, VERY DIFFERENT type of fundraiser then the normal bars events we all hold in our kingdoms, successfully. The Crack ‘n’ Glo Awards is “ALL FOR FUN”! It’s Our Version of the Gay Academy Awards! We can’t get too serious about ourselves in this make believe world of Emperor’s & Empress’s. We all raise money doing different ideas and agendas. Not everyone is gonna be in the good categories, not everyone is in the booby categories. It’s a mixture of your fellow court peers opinions who participated in the nomination process. If we can’t laugh at ourselves, then why laugh at all? The “Nomination Ballot” process started back on April 1st, 2010 and went until July 11th, 2010. I sent everyone, that I know of, a nomination ballot via e-mail. Then following it up, by sending the nomination ballots through our yahoo groups, three more times. There were over 1,200 names submitted to me for the final 77 categories. Only the top 10 nominees in each category are on the final voting ballot. The “Final Voting Ballot” has been in circulation since July 26th, 2010 going thru August 16th, 2010. The Overall Top 5 nominees in each category will be announced “Live and on Stage” at the 23rd Annual Crack ‘n’ Glo Awards Show on Saturday, September 4th, 2010. The Final Day to turn in your “FINAL VOTING BALLOT” is Monday, August 16th, 2010 Who made the Cut? Who will be in the Top 5? Who will take home the honor of receiving a Crack ‘n’ Glo Award? You don’t wanna miss this night of celebrating with the STARS! Ahhhhh, THIS IS EXCITING!!!!!
