Please join us from 5:00pm - 6:30pm on Monday, November 10 at MCC San José for a candlelight vigil to protest Proposition 8. MCC San Jose is located at 65 South Seventh Street in downtown San Jose (about a block from city hall). This vigil is being organized by MCC and the Council of Churches of Santa Clara County.
Please note: MCC San Jose is located directly across the street from a mission center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormons). It is very important that our vigil be non-violent and law-abiding. If you feel that you cannot participate in a peaceful protest across the street from a Mormon center, please stay home. We will not tolerate inappropriate behavior at the vigil.
