Since the Center has been going through a rough time, both financially and in its recent transition of leadership, please support our LGBT community center through interfaith prayer. Let us raise the level of consciousness at the Center, and call forth our highest vision. One that holds our Community Center in the light of wisdom, unity, peace and prosperity.
Collectively, our spiritual condition will impact the health of an organization. This includes the capacity for fundraising, and ultimately the organization’s viability. The DeFrank Center’s next board meeting is especially important because the membership will elect new board members. For this reason too, it would be good to pray for the wisdom of our future leadership.
The DeFrank board meeting will take place on March 24th at 7pm. The Center has already scheduled time for us to gather in the community room prior to the meeting, between 5:00 to 6:45 pm. You can stop by anytime within that time frame, or until the meeting starts. I suggest chanting for the early birds, and silent meditation/prayer towards the latter half of our gathering.
All true leaders know the power and influence of manifesting from their inner vision. So, please consider joining us, even if just briefly. Stand firm in your presence, above the contentious fray, and hold up your highest vision for the Center. Let us set an example, and permeate the environment with the peace of meditation.

Hi Everyone, Join us this month to hear Jill Jacobs, Executive Director of Family Builders (http://www.familybuilders.org ) discuss foster care, adoption, and family support for the LGBT community. Goo Goo Gay Gay (http://www.googoogaygay.com ) , creators of an LGBT family and allies apparel line, will be at our event as well, raffling a family gift basket worth $60!
We’ll also be providing an update on hates crimes legislation HRC is working on getting into Congress’ hands over the next several months. Don’t miss this fantastic event!
