Now enrolling for November 4-December 9, 2009 Last Drag 7-session class
The Last Drag is a free quit smoking class for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and HIV+ smokers held in San Francisco.
Quit smoking in a confidential and supportive group setting. Classes led by a highly skilled and experienced clinic leader certified by the American Lung Association.
Classes are held four times a year and are free of charge.
To register for this free 7-session class , email to info@lastdrag.org with your name, telephone number and mailing address.
NEXT 7-session CLASS:
Wednesday evenings in November/December 2009 for 6 weeks with one additional Saturday morning.

What : With Census Day - April 1, 2010 - less than six months away, the U.S. Census Bureau and Equality California come together for a discussion on the counting of same-sex marriages and the tabulating and reporting of 2010 Census data on gay and lesbian households.
The 2010 Census questionnaire will be one of the shortest ever - there are only 10 questions, requiring about 10 minutes to complete. Census data are used to apportion congressional seats to states, to distribute more than $400 billion in federal funds to local, state and tribal governments each year, and to make decisions about what community services to provide.
