Only 2 more weekends for theatre Q&#8217;s My Strange Nation, the  Music of Susan  Werner.    Kevin Kirby of the Palo Alto Weekly called My Strange Nation  &#8220;smart&#8221; and  &#8220;feisty&#8221;. He goes on to say &#8220;My Strange Nation is a funny,  well-assembled,  sometimes touching look at Susan Werner&#8217;s songbook. Given that  Werner is hardly a  household name, it will be interesting to see if the show  finds an audience. Alzheimer&#8217;s Association LGBT Caregivers Support Group at New Leaf Services<br />
WHEN: 11:00 am on the 3rd Saturday of each month. August meeting is THIS  Saturday 8/16.<br />
WHERE: NEW LEAF SERVICES, 103 Hayes Street (near market),<br />
This free support group offers participants the chance to express their  feelings and learn coping techniques from one another. By attending,  family members, caregivers, and friends:<br />
* Know they are not alone<br />
* Know that relevant help is available, accessible and nearby<br />
* Can gather to share practical information<br />
* Can problem-solve and support each other<br />
* Learn new ways of coping with dementia<br />
* Share ideas and experiences of being a long-distance caregiver<br />
* Deal with the present and prepare for the future<br />
 This group is hosted by New Leaf Outreach to Elders and is free. No  reservation is required. Please contact Karen at 415-626-7000 x458  with any questions. </p>
